History

CCS was established in 1970 by Jeff Meeks. Jeff began working in collections while attending college at California State University at Fresno and continued his education at California University at Berkeley while working at the Credit Bureau of Salinas.

Jeff had a real drive to succeed and make it on his own, so he purchased Lindey's Collection Service in Salinas and changed the name to Credit Consulting Services, Inc.

Today it is the largest and most reputable collection agency in the Central Coast of California, which include Monterey and Santa Cruz County.

CCS is now owned and operated by Jeff's son, Rodney Meeks. Rodney has continued CCS' success by reinvesting into the company and community. CCS has been recognized as "Small Business of the Year" by the State of California, "Large Business of the Year" by the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, and "Best Places to Work" by the Monterey County Business council.
